Phonebanked with the Wisconsin Dems today. Mostly a good experience. I was hoping to get an undecided voter or two to get a better idea of where they were coming from but almost all 1's (Harris Strong) 5's (Trump Strong) or hangup/busy. Two things were minor surprises 1) They're still in the persuasion phase which makes sense since Harris has such a late start. 2) The turf we got was for persuadable in CDs 6/7/8 though almost all of my calls ended up in the 3rd. Many of the voters I talked to told me they've gotten calls and door knocks from Rebecca Cooke's campaign.

Best of luck I remember phonebanking for Obama with the College Democrats in 2008 and around 2012 doing cold calls for the LATimes/USC polling. Even back then it was a rough experience at times I remember calling lots of older folks in places like West Virginia and Virginia. Cold calling and phonebanking are invaluable aspects of polling and campaigning, but they can be quite daunting even if you are reading from a script. I'm glad things are going well on your end, the voters often times may not be too polite or cooperative.

Thank you. I plan to do a shift each weekend between now and election day and plan to take the Monday-Tuesday of election week off to help either with phone banking or locally to help stragglers get their mail-in ballots to a drop box.

If you are in Wisconsin physically, that last weekend before the election, Milwaukee and Madison are gonna be turnout hotspots

I'm making the calls from CO but locally will see if I can drive up to the 8th (about an hour away) those last few days if there is a need.
