TX, GA, NC, and CA have apparently gained 6 to 9% more voters compared to 2020, but fast-growing FL has 6% less voters! MI gained 356K voters over the same time that FL lost 886K voters. And yet, you'd be nuts predicting that MI will cast 4% more votes this year while FL casts 6% less than 2020.

Doesn't Florida count strangely, that is, not count people who didn't vote in the last general/midterm? They don't kick them off the rolls but I think some of the R discrepancy in FL is that D turnout in 2022 was garbage.
That's the most important thing about the Florida 2022 electorate; not what the Republicans did(which was to actually vote), but what the Democratic voters didn't do(which was to actually not vote); I recognize more that anyone here how the trend is against the Democratic party here in Florida, but at least the efforts across the board are being made and should be applauded as such(as opposed to the 2022 cycle) that Democrats are fighting back
