Given my premise, most Dems тАЬlosingтАЭ close races in places run by Republicans. IтАЩll throw out Bill Nelson in 2018 as an example. Now I can certainly argue Bill should have managed to win anyway, but the margin is small enough itтАЩs hard to argue GOP dirty tricks werenтАЩt bigger than the margin. We just tend to see them as baked in.
I get where you are coming from; I just don't think our side benefits from that without empirical proof; and let's be clear, just because the Republicans cry like teenage girls, doesn't mean our side should follow suit; we are the good guys, and we should always act like it
