No polls yet but as a Long Islander I can tell you that Suozzi is way more aligned with the demographics there; “…a relatively older suburban electorate, with roughly 1 in 5 residents 65+.”
In hyper local election news we're having two votes on school questions in Franklin county, Massachusetts. The first question would build a new vocational high school and just needs a simple majority across the 19 towns that send kids to the current one. The other question would combine two small school districts and needs to pass in five of the six towns in the combined district. (One town, Warwick, has an out out provision, so if they vote no they simply won't join, rather than blocking the creation of the new district.)
If I had to guess, the tech school will pass and the new district will fail, j if only because of the more onerous rules.
Rep. Ritchie Torres, of all people, is pissed at Marcy Kaptur’s anti trans ad. Granted, he is gay himself, but he’s traditionally a more conservative Dem so this is something.
Personally, I continue to question why we should be engaging on the trans issue on the side of transphobia given that the issue is (as I recall) ranked very low among important issues for voters.

Both the Maine Senate polls were in the field after the news broke about the abandoned corruption investigation against Collins.
