Republicans have called on him to resign. Eichorn was also behind a state senate bill to declare "Trump Derangement Syndrome" an official malady, but he seems to be suffering from worse afflictions.

Google trends doesn't have much data on the phrase; I had to shift it to Worldwide instead of US only to get it to spit out any data. There's no interest for it before 2021, after which there is the occasional brief spike.
