Roath's opponent, incumbent Stephen Lynch, comes across as very similar to GOP incumbents in terms of his lack of responsiveness to the voters in the district. I'm pretty sure that's the reason Roath has outraised Lynch. Here is the origin story of how Roath came to challenge Lynch:
Lynch was asked at an event in early 2025 "Why are you siding with Republicans?" His response was "I get to decide that. I'm elected. You want to decide that, you need to run for Congress."

Of course. I think every major city should have their airport named after a favorite son, though. Like if Memphis was Elvis Presley International or if Pittsburgh was Fred Rogers (I'm in Pittsburgh a lot and they already have his quotes everywhere).
As a Chicagoan I’m not sure if they’d ever rename O’Hare, but I can imagine Midway being named after Obama when he dies. If there’s another favorite son they’d name an airport after it would probably be Michael Jordan.
My cousin lives in Stuart, it is about 30 miles north of Palm Beach International. He said he now flies out of Orlando, 2 hours north, but Stuart is getting a rail directly into Orlando airport. Here in TN, the Republicans wanted to name Nashville airport in honor of der Fuhrer. Now , they will know the backlash of not honoring Tennessee's best loved person ever in this State.

It does not seem that anything will stop her from uniting as she seems cannot accept the loss of the nomination she seems to have felt entitled to. Very sad and potentially dangerous.

That said, the whole "I will be campaigning downballot" line is so idiotic. Hey, you know what helps downballot candidates the most? A strong top-of-the-ticket performance! Not to mention the discourse and infighting she inevitably sets off every time she makes a comment like that.
She might still do it after Labor Day or before early voting. Yes, helping the down ballot is important ,so people will know who is running and not just walk away from people you don't know.

Nashville, Tennessee's airport will be renamed to Dolly Parton International Airport, in honor of the late singer and humanitarian.
This follows a trend seen in previous years, like Louisville being renamed to Muhammad Ali International and Palm Beach to Donald Trump International.

Now now now. She may have technically endorsed him once sorta kinda but this is 180 degrees from how Stevens, Hong, etc are acting.
If Talarico loses, Crockett will probably argue that he lost because he could not excite Black voters.
