Yes. Per Politico:

Matt Meyer

15,959

49.2%

Bethany Hall-Long

11,617

35.8

38.9% of expected vote in

Hall-Long has had some scandals, so it would be better if she loses the primary.

I just follow PoliticalWire, usually, but I'll be watching the presidential debate for the next 90 minutes.

And I hate that she didn't answer "Yes" to the first question, whether people are better off today than 4 years ago. But that's off topic for The Downballot, so I'll avoid further real-time comments about it.

Fortunately, every other answer by her was better than the first answer, and it actually set him up, as he then claimed, of course, that his economy was so great and she then reminded everyone what things were really like 4 years ago. I don't think we can ever trust white voters in this country not to vote for white supremacy, so let's be very clear that Trump is still very much a threat and could win, but I think it's quite clear who "won" this "debate."

Sadly it's not just debates that win elections. If they did, we would have had Presidents John Kerry in 2004 and Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2016.

I don't think anyone ever said that was the only thing that wins elections.

My family lives in Delaware. I'm am PRAYING Hall-Long loses. We don't need her baggage in the general election.

She would have won anyway, but maybe best not to have the added drama
