This is a good question. Unfortunately, it seems like the answer is no—but, I suspect, only for now. I can say that Substack is very aggressive about adding new features and, in my experience so far, very responsive to user feedback. Even before we launched, they were already coming up with workarounds for us regarding a back-end issue and wanted to get with their engineers for a more permanent solution.
Also, we do have the Discord server (the #1 perk for paying subscribers! along with the warm fuzzies of helping a site you love, of course). That's super rich in terms of multi-media.

On DKE, it was easy to bold or italicize text, or add images and links to comments. Are we still going to be able to do that here?
