Hinson being the Republican US Senate nominee is the worst case scenario if your goal was maximizing the chances of getting a Democrat elected to the US Senate seat.

I wish voters in New York were more leftist and tolerated less collaboration with Republican saboteurs, and I can only hope that the primary victory of Mamdani, whom I did not select first (I ranked Brad Lander 1st and didn't rank Mamdani until #4, because of serious doubts over how much of his program will get OKd by the state) will be the first of many defeats of collaborationist and ineffective Democrats and of course Republicans in this state. Can we please defeat Hochul next, contrary to current polling?
