The Downballot's 2024 overtime results tracker

Welcome to The Downballot’s live results tracker for every key election in America below the presidency. Above, you’ll find our continually updated maps and tables covering a huge range of race races.

With the battle for the House headed to overtime, we’ve set that as the default page for our tracker. But if you want information on other contests, just click the “Home” button at the top left.

Some helpful hints for using our tracker:

• You can navigate to our maps and tables using the buttons at the top of the graphic.

• “Home” shows you seat totals for Congress and other positions and lets you navigate to more granular results.

• Modules do not refresh while you are viewing them. If you view a different module and then come back, the module will be refreshed.

• Hovering over a legend category in a map highlights all races in that category.

• The tables are searchable. For instance, entering “NC-” in the search bar for the House table will bring up all the North Carolina races.

• Larger tables can be sorted by any column. Just click on the column title.

• Most tables include demographic data as well. You may need to scroll horizontally.

• There’s a short lag between data entry and module updates that can result in conflicting numbers in different modules.
