Yes! Time for a celebratory shot of Balvenie.

Thank god, I couldn’t take another bit of bad news, especially since the WI Supreme Court can now completely undue the gerrymandered map of the state, which handed several additional house seats to republicans; without earning them….:)

You mean they could overturn the court-drawn maps of the state lege from a few years back?

Yes, thanks for the clarification…:)

Elno has wealth, he has influence, but he sorely lacks political nous, and it showed tonight.

Zero self-awareness and zero skills in reading the room...fecking jerk.

Could be his time drastically shortened at DOGE and the WH.

The "r" slur Elon slinging around is projection for his own "r"d self.

The interesting battle now is to see whether Crawford can top Protasiewicz‘s 11 point margin two years ago. Right now she’s up by 12 with 2/3 of the vote in.

Ozaukee is a WOW county right? Currently only 52R 48D w 80% in. Not sure how that compares to last year's race, but that seems quite thin for the Republican in a county that is supposed to be the foundation of GOP wins. Shifts in WOW would be good news for the Dems, no? Is this a big shift?

Brad Warren's avatar

The WOW counties in general aren't what they once were for Republicans, but Ozaukee is trending blue much faster than the others. I think Protasiewicz lost it by a similar margin.

Kelly won it by 5 in 2023

I guess this is the end of civilization:

Elon Musk said during his address at the Green Bay rally: "I think this will be important for the future of civilization.”

Ethan (KingofSpades)'s avatar

Yeah, I know getting obsessive over stuff is part of his public mental condition (and I would know), but that was bizarre. It was like that one Berkeley NIMBY being interviewed who said that building more housing in Berkeley would help lead to critical global overpopulation.

Lance Khrome's avatar

That would be the future of WESTERN civilization, thank you very much. So, yeah, the barbarians are not only at the gate, THEY'VE BROKEN THROUGH...gaaaaaah!

Ethan (KingofSpades)'s avatar

I am additionally glad that it went this way because it would be much-needed backlash to the desperate pseudo-lottery giveaways that he probably thought were decisive.

Looks like Crawford carried Brown County, home of Green Bay.

I hope voters give those two MAGA Karens on SCOWI the boot in April 2026 and 2027.

I just wrote Axios’ reporter. Alex Isenstadt published "3 takeaways from Wisconsin and Florida special elections" – and not a word quantifying the Democratic over-performances in FL-06 and FL-01! How is this possible??

It’s increasingly clear that mainstream journalists need the help of good data journalists such as David Nir and Jeff Singer of The Downballot.

Axios and all the corporate media are still kowtowing to the convicted felon and Muskrat.

Happy to see Musk lose big time.
