I’ve never heard of “approval voting”. My first impression is that it would be great.
I also think that Democrats in general should aim for 70-75% approval nationwide. Not that they would be the first choice of that 70-75%, but that 70-75% would have no problem with electing Democrats. That would take a focus on pragmatism, candidate quality, acceptance of political and social differences, and embrace of political and economic reforms to make life more fair and prosperous.
