Democrats and democrat leaning billionaires, including us small givers are going to have to open up for governors and state legislators in the South, especially Georgia and Texas. The Georgia governor has yet to be chosen but we can donate to Texas's Democratic candidate and the Dem running for governor in Alabama. All our candidates will be viable with the affordability crisis, the Trump hiring recession, and the war. I think many Maga and Republicans in general will sit at home if they can't bring themselves to vote for a Democrat. So low turnout on the right and high turnout by Ds and independents voting Democrat. We must fill the ballot-Dems in Indiana did not do this.

One question - can Rs “pre-draw” maps for 2028 and 2030 even before the lame duck in places like GA and TX?
Basically, to allow them to quickly recapture any state legislative losses and leave the only D recourse a full (unlikely) 2026 trifecta to undo it?
