It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

Yes, once again, our great friends at the exceptional Green’s Bakery are generously sponsoring our annual election prediction contest, with babka (and other treats) for the winners!

You’ll find the form to submit your entries at the bottom of this post.

To submit your guesses and be eligible for prizes, you must be a paid subscriber of The Downballot! If you haven’t already upgraded your subscription, just click the button below:

You’ll also need to provide your name (or username) and email address so that we can contact you if you win. The deadline for submitting predictions is 5 PM ET Tuesday, Nov. 4. You may enter as many times as you like, but only your final prediction received before the deadline will count.

Our quiz has two parts, plus a tiebreaker:

• In the first round, we ask you to predict the winner of various statewide and local races, including some real deep cuts.

• In the second round, you must guess the number of seats that Democrats will win in a selection of elections with multiple seats at stake.

• Finally, our tiebreaker: Tell us the percentage of the vote that each candidate will get in New York City’s mayoral race.

Contest winners will be notified once all election results are final, so there may be a bit of a delay before we can contact you.
